I'm a daydreamer and Northern Michigan has plenty of activities to inspire dreams. Picking berries, snorkeling for stones in the bay, or zipping along nearby snowmobile trails on my Polaris 600 Classic are just a few favorites.
I've always dreamed big. Adoring the dashing heroes and feisty heroines of fairy tales and folklore, those stories fueled my desire to do something special. In a rush to grow up, I graduated a year early and went to college. I married my college sweetheart, and then landed a job in banking that has spanned over twenty years and several positions. But my dream of writing remained.
In spite of my corporate climb, I joined Romance Writers of America in 1991.
After many years of learning and rewriting, in 2001 my first book was published - a Traditional Regency titled Blessing in Disguise.
Then in 2006, I became a RITA finalist with my sixth book, Miss Whitlow's Turn. But the contemporary world of romance beckoned and I knew I had to answer the call by writing books of my heart set near the Great Lakes.
I hope you enjoy them.
